About Tower of the Sorcerer
A tile-based dungeon-crawler in the lineage of the 1996 freeware classic. Climb floor by floor, pick up keys, open doors, and choose which monsters to fight — every encounter costs HP, and HP is rationed.
Story
You ascend a procedurally-arranged tower. The exit is somewhere above; the path is gated by coloured doors that need matching keys.
Combat is deterministic: damage is calculated up-front from your stats vs. the monster's, so you can preview every fight before you commit. The skill is in choosing your route, not your reflexes.
Controls
- Arrow keys or WASD — move one tile
- R — start a new run after game over
- Use `tower start` in the /terminal to continue from a save
