Common questions

SCCalc will not open my file.

Confirm the file is readable in Finder and that SCCalc has access to it through the system open panel. If the file is confidential, reproduce the issue with sample data or a synthetic file before contacting support.

An analysis result looks wrong or unexpected.

Check variable types, missing value handling, filters, weights, and selected options. When reporting, include the analysis name, selected variables, options, warnings shown in Results, and whether the same workflow works with SCCalc sample data.

How do I restore a subscription?

Open SCCalc, choose the subscription window, and select Restore. SCCalc asks the App Store for your current purchase status and unlocks full access when an active subscription is found.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

In SCCalc, choose Manage Subscription from the subscription window. You can also open the App Store app, click your name, choose Account Settings, then manage subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

All App Store billing is handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, find the SCCalc transaction, and choose Request a refund.

Diagnostics

SCCalc can copy app and system details that help support diagnose problems. Before sending diagnostics, remove any information you do not want to share.

  • -Do not send raw confidential datasets, private project files, passwords, tokens, or secrets.
  • -Use sample data, a synthetic file, or a redacted screenshot whenever possible.
  • -Describe the exact workflow and error message if you cannot share a file.
