iThrea - Support

Help for iThrea on Apple platforms.

Contact

For App Store support, subscription trouble, playback issues, library connection problems, or feature requests, write to:

[email protected]

Include the iThrea version, platform and OS version, device model, backend type, whether the source is Emby, WebDAV, or Local, and what happened instead of what you expected.

Before sending diagnostics

iThrea diagnostics can include backend type, server URL or local path, server name, server version, root path, and recent error messages. Do not send passwords, tokens, private server screenshots, or full media-library listings.

When possible, reproduce the issue with a test server, sample folder, redacted URL, or screenshot that does not expose private media names.

Common questions

Which backends are supported?

iThrea currently supports Emby, WebDAV, and one rooted local folder. SMB is visible as a coming-soon roadmap source and is not connectable in the current runtime.

The app will not connect to my server.

Confirm the server URL uses HTTPS, the credentials are correct, and the endpoint is reachable from the device. For WebDAV, check the root path and whether the server allows listing the selected directory.

Why does local playback fall back to another player?

Some local files cannot be previewed inline on every desktop setup. When preview initialization fails, iThrea keeps the source openable through the system player instead of treating it as a fatal media-load failure.

How do I restore a subscription?

Open iThrea and use Restore on the subscription screen. iThrea asks the App Store for current purchase status and unlocks access when an active iThrea subscription is found.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Use Manage Subscription in iThrea, or manage subscriptions from your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

All App Store billing is handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, find the iThrea transaction, and choose Request a refund.

Diagnostics

iThrea can copy support diagnostics from the app. Review them before sending anything to support.

  • -Do not send passwords, access tokens, account secrets, or private server credentials.
  • -Redact server hostnames or local file paths if they identify private infrastructure or media.
  • -Describe the exact backend, file, action, and error shown in the app.
