Summary
SA_agent uses a numbered account and extension token. jpfchang.org does not require email signup for SA_agent, does not automatically email SA_agent users, and does not ask users to enter their own AI provider keys.
Who provides SA_agent
SA_agent is provided by Pengfan Chang through jpfchang.org. Purchase, billing, and refund questions for Creem purchases may be sent to creem@jpfchang.org.
Information processed
Account and token data
SA_agent creates a random numbered account and stores a hashed extension token on jpfchang.org. The plaintext token is shown once so you can paste it into the browser extension.
Billing data
Creem processes checkout, subscription, tax, payment, and payout details. jpfchang.org stores Creem identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status, credit balance, usage charges, and webhook events needed to operate SA_agent credits. Full card, bank, and wallet details are handled by Creem and its payment partners, not by jpfchang.org.
AI summary requests
When you request an AI summary, the extension sends the selected article text or PDF text to jpfchang.org. jpfchang.org sends that content to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate the summary and records token usage and billed cost.
Local extension data
The extension stores settings such as your SA_agent service URL and extension token in browser extension storage. Journal ranking data is packaged with the extension and used locally.
How information is used
- Operate checkout, subscriptions, credits, and extension-token access.
- Generate AI summaries and show transparent model, token, and cost information.
- Prevent abuse, investigate errors, and reconcile billing or support requests.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and payment-processing obligations.
Sharing and service providers
SA_agent uses Creem for checkout and merchant-of-record services, Cloudflare for hosting, database, security, and Workers AI, and Google Chrome / browser extension APIs for extension storage and operation. SA_agent does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and your choices
Billing, credit, usage, and security records are kept as long as needed to provide SA_agent, resolve disputes, comply with accounting requirements, and protect the service. You can remove the extension token from your browser storage at any time.
