SA_agent - Terms of Service

About SA_agent
SA_agent is a browser extension for Google Scholar that provides journal ranking badges and optional AI-powered article summaries. These Terms govern SA_agent subscriptions, credits, extension tokens, and use of the SA_agent service on jpfchang.org.
Plans, pricing, and credits
Monthly plan
US$10 per month. Active monthly subscriptions add US$10 of SA_agent AI credits each month.
Yearly plan
US$100 per year. Active yearly subscriptions add US$10 of SA_agent AI credits each month during the yearly subscription period.
Credit usage
AI summaries are charged at twice the underlying Cloudflare Workers AI token cost. Journal ranking badges remain free inside the extension.
Rollover and cancellation
Unused credits roll over. If you cancel or stop a subscription, remaining credits can still be used, but no new monthly credits are added after the subscription is no longer active.
Billing, renewal, and refunds
Purchases are processed by Creem as merchant of record. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Creem shows the final price, tax, and billing details before payment.
You can manage or cancel an SA_agent subscription directly from the SA_agent dashboard by opening the Creem Customer Portal with your extension token.
Billing, cancellation, refund, and payment questions for Creem purchases may be sent to creem@jpfchang.org.
Account number and extension token
SA_agent uses a random account number and extension token instead of email signup. Keep both private. Anyone with your extension token may be able to use your remaining SA_agent credits. jpfchang.org does not automatically email SA_agent users.
AI summary limitations
AI summaries may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for high-stakes decisions. SA_agent is a research workflow aid and does not replace reading the original paper, expert review, academic judgment, legal advice, medical advice, or financial advice.
Acceptable use
You may not use SA_agent to violate laws, abuse the service, attempt to bypass usage accounting, attack jpfchang.org or Cloudflare systems, or submit content you do not have the right to process.
Changes and contact
These Terms may be updated as SA_agent, Creem, Cloudflare Workers AI, or applicable law changes. Questions about these Terms or Creem purchases may be sent to creem@jpfchang.org.
